The Federated States of Micronesia Tourism Project was a national assignment to document the four states—Pohnpei, Chuuk, Kosrae, and Yap—through a unified visual lens. Soused Productions traveled across the islands to create a comprehensive photo and video library showcasing the country’s culture, people, traditions, and landscapes for international tourism and global promotion

Palau visitors authority

Palau celebrated its Independence Day with vibrant festivities, including concert performances featuring dance and song, vendor markets showcasing local cuisine, boat races with traditional sailing canoes and modern speedboats, and a spectacular  reworks display at the nation’s capital. Soused was commissioned by the Palau Visitors Authority to document the celebrations, capturing every event while also highlighting Palau’s breathtaking landscapes through aerial photography and scenes from aboard sailing boats.

REMETHAU - COMMUNITY IN HAWAII

Each year, the Remathau community in Hawaii gathers to honor the achievements of Yapese and Micronesian graduates, celebrating milestones from elementary school to doctorate degrees. For the 2023 celebration, Soused took on the important task of documenting the event through video and photography, capturing each graduate adorned in their traditional Micronesian cultural attire.

13TH FESTIVAL OF PACIFIC & ARTS

The 13th Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture, held in the summer of 2024, was hosted by the state of Hawaii to celebrate the rich diversity of Oceania’s cultures. Soused Productions was commissioned by One Reef Micronesia to focus speci cally on documenting the Micronesian region, including the Federated States of Micronesia (Pohnpei, Chuuk, Kosrae, Yap), Palau, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

CELEBRATE MICRONESIA festival

For the past four years, the annual Celebrate Micronesia Festival has been held at Honolulu's Bishop Museum in collaboration with the Paci c Islands Development Program, East-West Center, and the Center for Paci c Island Studies. This vibrant event unites Hawaii in celebrating the rich cultures and diverse communities of Micronesia. In 2023 and 2024, Soused was hired to document the festivities, conduct interviews with vendors, capture performances, and assist in promoting the event through various marketing platforms.
